KPI modeler
We have a SAP HANA(1.00.094.00.1427101515) and an ERP on it. We although installed FIORI Smart Business. Our Basis did configure SAP HANA, SAP WebDispatcher, SAP Frontend Server / SAP Backend Server (same server) and FIORI Launchpad.
But when we launch fiori via launchpad, we see that the KPI Modeler doesn't start up. We see only blank KPI Tiles (see picture belo)
Further, we did debug and figure out that that our GET is failing with 404 error...
the respective URL is as below:
we went ahead and checked our services in backend, fixed couple of OSS notes but still the issue continues...
Can any one help here?

How to debug a standard fiori application
Hi All,
how we can debug the standard fiori application.
I want to debug MY PURCHASING Documents(mm_purdoc_list) Application.
As mentioned in one of the blog, we have to add sap-ui-debug=true to the url for debugging the application.
I have tried adding the parameter sap-ui-debug=true to the url, which we get after navigation to the that application in Fiori launchpad. but nothing happened.
I tried like below:
http://<>:<>/**flp/shells/abap/Fiorilaunchpad.html?#PurchasingDocumentItem-display&sap-ui-debug=true

Fiori Launchpad displays a blank screen
My Fiori Launchpad displays a blank screen when running the FioriLaunchpad URL

I installed Fiori and everything appears to be configured ok. I then installed the backend components for Leave Requests (GBHCM002 and GBHCM003). I created a new catalog and group in the launchpad designer and assigned them to my role.
I activated the ICF services, and launchpad services via /iwfnd/maint_service. Services are assigned to LOCAL system alias and browser calls are successful and I see no errors when testing via the gateway client.

Missing OData Service in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE

I have a gateway in Netweaver 7.40 and I try to activate the Fiori application "Track Shipments"
I activated in SICF this /default_host/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/le_ship_mon but in /n/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and add services, I don't find the odata service SRA019_SHIPMENT_TRACKING_SRV

Fiori Launchpad Designer - no catalogs are displayed
Hi,
I installed SAP Fiori according to the guidelines in SAP Help Portal:
- Setup of SAP Fiori System Landscape with ABAP Environment
- Configuration of SAP Fiori Infrastructure > Setup of SAP Fiori Launchpad
- App Implementation for Transactional Apps
I implemented 2 Apps:
- My Travel and Expenses for Employee
- Approve Travel Expenses for Manager
Relevant Packages are up to date:
- Frontend

SAP_UI 740 0015

Unfortunately in Fiori Launchpad neither Apps nor Catalogs are shown.
The Problem already starts in Fiori Launchpad Designer being empty (no catalogs, no groups).
During my problem investigation I found out, that in transaction /UI2/FLC (Fiori Launchpad Checks) all Packages are shown with no errors (all is green), but when I click on either one of the catalog IDs, MSIE opens and I get following error message (roughly translated from German):
"Catalog with ID:X-SAP-UI2-CATALOGPAGE:... does not exist; the first catalog in the list will be loaded".
The catalog IDs involved are:
SAP_TRAVEL_BC_MANAGER_X1
SAP_TRAVEL_BC_EMPLOYEE_X1
SAP_TRAVEL_TC_T_X1
SAP_TRAVEL_BC_BUSINESSTRA
SAP_TRAVEL_TC_T
Please advise since I am completely stuck here.

My Inbox Fiori app: Open Task configuration
Hi,
I'm implementing My Inbox Fiori app with ECC, SRM and MDG as backends. The app is working fine and I can see the workitems of each backend. But the Open Task button is not working. I saw in this document

that I need to configure the open task button using transaction SWFVISU. I wonder if someone has any documentation on how to do it for SRM workitems.

Catalog not showing in Tile Catalog
Hi,
I have configured a standard fiori App Analyze Payment Details by setting up the PFCG business catalog role SAP_SFIN_BCR_CASHMANAGER
My launchpad is newly configured so there are no existing tiles till now. After configuring the above PFCG role and the Backend Odata role , I am able to see all the tiles under the business catalog and I am able to run the standard application Analyze Payment Details from the tile.
But when I login through the URL for Catalog configuration http://<ip>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html?sap-client=100&scope=CONF
there I dont see any entries either in catalog or groups (even if I login as admin). Both the Catalog and Groups section is empty.
Also , when i use Tile Catalog from the normal launchpad url ,after clicking on Tile Catalog , I get a screen with dropdown for Catalog. But the message "Loading Tiles" is shown indefinitely. There is no error in console and the system kinds of gets stuck always at Loading Tiles message.
I think the the above 2 issues might be inter-related and might have a common reason .

Factsheets are not displayed in Launchpad

I have completed my fiori Factshets(G/L Accounting Document and Vendor Accounting documents) are activated in both front-end and back-end service and roles are also assigned but these two are not visible in launchpad.
Note: Transnational Apps are not visible in Launchpad visible but not Factshets.
Please help me these two are very urgent.

Best possible choice for Dashboard development
Hi!
I am looking for different possibilities for creating dashboards for executives in Health Care industry. Basically, at first you are shown some tiles/visualisations with some context data behind them and by pressing on those tiles or visuals you could either drill down or view a larger/more detailed table or some additional visualisations. It
I tried Lumira, which had great visualization capabilities but no Dashboard capability (+ the licencing issue). I also tried playing around with SAP Smart Business Executive Edition, but it seriously lacked in visualization possibilities and flexibility, not to mention only possible data source is HANA view AND the product is not developed and EOL is 30. Sept 2017.
Are there any other products or is it easier to expose the required data through an OData WebService and create your own visualisation app with UI5 and publish it to Fiori Launchpad? Or is there a Fiori App available for all kinds of dashboarding capabilities?
To sum up, what are the most cost effective, non-time consuming ways to develop and consume dashboards to view data from BW system?
PS: Let me know when you need more info on my use case and requirements.

Is it worth creating Component-preload.js for Fiori Extension Application ?
Hi Gents,
Upon reading through the entire discussion on component-preload.js Optimizing OpenUI5/SAPUI5 Apps for improving the performance. i was wondering if i can also implement it for my recently developed Fiori Extension Projects.
My Doubts are:
1. Since Std Fiori does have Component-preload.js file in app directory, is it best practise to create Component-preload.js file for Extension Project also?
2. If answer to first question is yes, importing the extension project in File system and setting up grunt to generate the Component-preload.js and copy it back to the original project directory would be the approach right?
please address these points, I'm really looking forward to improve the performance

Clear Cache of i18n
Hi Experts,
When my app load the i18n files, these two urls are requested:
/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/~FD9FEFE98F61662E956C262892BEDDAB~C/sap/myappid/i18n/messageBundle_en.properties
/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/myappid/~1A57B8CE674F00907042B00F4A2E28E8~5/i18n/messageBundle_en.properties
But the content of two files are different and caused some error, I think the cache is reason.
I found "~1A57B8CE674F00907042B00F4A2E28E8~5" in table /UI5/APPIDX, but I can't find "~FD9FEFE98F61662E956C262892BEDDAB~C".
Can you tell me where can I find this index and how to clear the cache of it?

Error - found in negative cache error for Component.js in custom Fiori app
Hello experts,
We have developed a custom Fiori app and integrated it in the Fiori Launchpad. This app is working fine in the development gateway system.
Now we transported the BSP app corresponding to this custom Fiori app, semantic object and the Tile objects to the QA gateway system.
After moving the objects to QA we try to access the app from the QA Launchpad. The tile is visible on the Launchpad, but when we click on the tile to open it shows the below error:
The browser console in Google Chrome has the below error messages:
The Tile and Target Mapping properties of the tile are as below:
The SICF node /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/zinv_apv is activated. Any ideas why this error comes in the app in the QA environment?
